Summer Youth Program and Swim Lesson Sign-up/Annual Membership Drive - Saturday, June 1st, 2013 from 9:00am to 12:00pm
Sign up for our fun-filled summer activities at the Youth Center, from 9-12 noon. Phone 845-887-5155 for info. Arts/Crafts & Environmental Program runs from July 1 - August 8, 2013 (6 weeks). Summer PEP/Sports Program runs from June 24 - August 16, 2013 (8 weeks). Please support the DYC by becoming a member.

Tractor Parade - Sunday, June 9th, 2013 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm
Tractors old and new, large and small parade down Main Street at Noon. Following the parade, enjoy a tasty Chicken Barbeque made by Miller's BBQ under the new pavilion at the Delaware Community Center. For information call 845-887-5155 or email liaison@delawareyouthcenter.org.

The River Run - Sunday, July 21st, 2013 from 8:00am to 11:00am
Join us for this 5K race down River Road, a beautiful, flat course along the scenic Delaware River in Callicoon, NY. Novice to experienced runners; walkers welcome. Community Yard Sale - Saturday, July 27th, 2013 from 9:00am to 4:00pm

Driver Safety Class - Saturday, September 21st, 2013 from 9:00am to 3:30pm
The Delaware Youth Center is offering the NTSI's (National Traffic Safety Institute) six hour New York State Driver Safety Course. The next class will be held on Saturday, Sept 21, 2013 from 9am - 3:30pm. The course is sponsored by Catskill Hudson Bank and Buddenhagen's Ford. Registration and advance payment of the $40 fee ($35 for DYC members) are required to secure a seat. Limited seating available, so register now! Interested participants may download the flyer and registration form at http://delawareyouthcenter.org/file_library/DriverSafetyFlyer.pdf and mail it in with payment to DYC, PO Box 354, Callicoon, NY 12723. Welcome to the Delaware Youth Center...

Nestled on the shore of the Delaware River in the rural hamlet of Callicoon, New York, the Delaware Youth Center has been a central part of its surrounding community for over 70 years. And in that time, we’ve had the honor of touching thousands of lives. Whether they learned to swim in our pool, to fly-fish in our creek, had their first dance at our pavilion, or celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in our hall, chances are that if you ask someone in the community what the Delaware Youth Center has done for them, they’ll have a special story to tell.

We’ve been able to provide all these things and more over the years thanks to the support and generosity of our members. Though we do allow everyone to use the playground and grounds, the Youth Center is not a town park, it is funded and intended for use by our Members, so don’t forget to become a Member soon! Treat yourself to the fun and warm memories that membership provides, and ensure that the Delaware Youth Center continues to touch the community for the next 70 years, and beyond.
