The 15th Annual Delaware Youth Center River Run will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013. This 5K race takes you down River Road in Callicoon, NY along a beautiful, flat course beside the majestic and scenic Delaware River. The race has grown substantially over the past several years with almost 300 racers, both walkers and runners, competing last year. (2012 River Run )
We want to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers, and racers in advance for supporting this great event! All proceeds from the race benefit the Delaware Youth Center, a not-for-profit organization run by volunteer directors, serving almost 300 families each year. The majority of our funding comes from memberships, grants, donations, and fundraisers as income to operate the facility, which has an annual operating budget of over $100,000. This race is our largest fund raiser and therefore vital to the long term stability of the Center. We look forward to seeing you all on race day… so, let’s get training!!
